REX

Rex are a special breed or rabbits who have a velvet like texture to their coat.  They are calm affectionate rabbits.  

The following rabbits are all the rex I currently have in my breeding program.

 

Black and Broken Black

The following rabbits fit into this catagory.  Their black should be a dark shiny black with no white hairs mixed in.  On the broken, the edges of the black should be a crisp clean line.

 

Svelte's Raven

Raven is a rich black rex doe that is slightly small but comes from big parents.  I am excited to see if she can out produce herself.  

 

Svelte's SRP7

Astrex came to us this year from Svelte's Rabbitry.  He is a gorgeous solid black rex.  He has one leg, with hopefully more to come.  I look forward to seeing how he can help my breeding stock!

 

Moonstruck's MRJ10

Daisy is a broken black doe who is registered.  she came to me from Jody's Rabbitry. 

 

Windy River May

May is my first homegrown doe that I have kept.  She is a broken black rex doe who has never been shown, but hope to this year if possible.

 

Brandy's Ivy

Ivy came to me from Brandy's Rabbitry out of Washington.  Ivy is a broken black Rex doe.  She is red, white and blue seal registered.  She has earned a leg and has one Best of Breed. 

 

Chocolate and Broken Chocolate

The chocolate color of the rex rabbit should be a dark rich chocolate color with no white hairs in the colored portion of the rabbit.  The lines on the broken chocolate should be clean and crisp.

 

Moonstruck's BX5

Bowie is a broken chocolate otter rex buck that came to us in 2017 from Jody's Rabbitry.  He has coarser fur so will be used with mmy chocolate doe in hopes of bettering the fur quality of their kits. 

 

Betty's Cocoa

Cocoa is a registered chocolate rex buck.  He came to me from Reeve's Rabbitry out of WA.  I am looking forward to seeing what babies he will help produce in my rabbitry.

 

 

Betty's Milk Chocolate

Milk is a gorgeous dark chocolate rex doe.  She came to me from Reeves Rabbitry out of Washington.  I am excited to see how she can help my chocolate program.

 

Svelte's Caramilk

Caramilk came to me from Svelte's Rabbitry.  She is a rex.  She was injured as a baby so does have a slightly crooked leg, but is getting to be a really nice doe.  She has a beautiful rich milk chocolate color.  I am hoping that she will bring some beautiful babies to my rabbitry.

Little Moon's LW1

Elvis is a chinchilla rex who came to us from Little Moon Rabbitry out of Washington.  He is maturing into a gorgeous boy!

 

Little Moon's Bambi

Bambi is a chinchilla rex doe that came to me from Little Moon's Rabbitry out of Washington.  She is registered and recieved an honorable mention at her first show. 

 

Black Otter and Broken Black Otter

 

Decker's D515-X

Gage was purchased from Brandt's Rabbitry when she was selling out of most of her Rex to concentrate on her other breeds.  He is a very nice Black otter buck who has 2 legs and is registered. 

 

Brandt's Odessa

Odessa is a registered black otter Rex doe that came to me from Brandt's Rabbitry.  She is a huge part of my black otter breeding program.  She has earned 3 legs.

 

Judon's KW4

Fancy is a beautiful black otter rex doe who came to me from Judon's Rex Rabbits out of Oregon.  She has one leg and will hopefully earn more this year. 

 

Tri and Harlequin

 

Dawn 2 Dusk Pixie

Pixie is a pretty tri rex doe that came to me from Dawn 2 Dusk Rabbitry.  She is a proven doe that i am excited to breed.  

 

Gossamer's Chatterbox

Chatterbox came to me from Gossamer's Farm in Oregon.  She is a beautiful tri rex doe that I added to my program this summer.  I am looking forward to see what she brings to my rabbitry.

 

Little Moon's RS6

Queen is my tri doe that came to me from Little Moon's Rabbitry.  She is a very friendly affectionate girl.

 

 

Gossamer's Charisma

This doe is a gorgeous tri rex who also came to me from Gossamer's Hollow from Oregon.  She is a sister to Chatterbox.  This girl is a very promising young girl.  

 

 

Little Moon's Tye

Tye came to me from Little Moon's Rabbitry out of Washington.  He can never be registered as harlequin is not a recognized color in the rex standard, but is used in the breedings for tri color.  He is an extremely affectionate boy who loves his scratches and cuddles.

 

Gossamer's Butterfly

Butterfly also came to me from Gossamer Hollow in Oregon.  She is a gorgeous tri rex doe and I am looking forward to watching her producing young for me in the years to come.  

 

Backyard Heart's Lipton

Lipton came to me this year from Backyard Heart Rabbitry.  He is a harlequin rex who can never be registered as this is not a recognized color.  He will be an asset to my tri color breeding program.

 

Sable and Broken Sable

 

Lorazark's Meister

Meister is a Sable Rex who came to me from Lorazark's Rabbitry.  He is a gorgeous boy, who unfortunately can never be registered to a bite under his tail causing a white mark.  He will hopefully bring some gorgeous babies to my breeding program.

 

Calico's Rolo

Rolo is a sable Rex boy who came to me from Calico Critters Rabbitry out of Washington.  I am looking forward to seeing the litters that can come out of this beautiful boy!

 

 

Mink Hollow's Aura

This beautiful Sable rex doe has the barn name of Cora.  She came to us from Mink Hollow Rabbitry.  She will be an intrigal part of my sable breeding program.

Black English Spot

 

Rainier's Carl

Carl came to me from Elizabeth Carpenter from Washington.  She sold out her spots.  Carl is a beautiful black spot doe.  Funny story about how she came by her name:  Elizabeth named her thinking Carl was a boy.  Later on, the lovely sex fairy came and cast a spell and Carl became a girl.  lol  Yes it does happen fairly often with rabbits.  Carl has 3 legs to her name, but due to having never received them, I cannot grand champion this lovely doe.  

 

Sportings Mercedes

Mercedes is a gorgeous black doe that came to me from Aaron Stahowiak and Rachel Schwartz.  She was bred by Sportings Spots Rabbitry.  She came to me already grand championed.  I am looking forward to see what this doe can do to help in our breeding program.

 

Caskey's Kwin

Kwin is a beautiful black buck who has 2 legs to his name already.  He arrived to our breeding program this fall from Caskey's Rabbitry out of British Columbia.

Sporting's Juventus

Juventus came to me directly from Sporting Spots Rabbitry out of Washington.  He arrived as a junior with 1 leg.  He is a very nice boy.  I am excited to see what qualities we get from this lovely boy.  He is a very nice lilac color.

 

Carrot's Vaya

Vaya also came to our breeding program through Aaron Stahowiak and Rachel Schwartz.  She is a beautifu lilac doe.  She is going to be a huge asset to our breeding program.  

 

Lorazark's Whatif

Whatif is a very pretty lilac boy who is again one of my partners first litters.  He also did quite well at his first show.  We are expecting some great things from this little guy when he matures.  

 

Rustic Roots Brinn

Brinn came to us from Dayna Seely.  She is a pretty lilac doe who produces gorgeous babies!

 

RM Lewis

Lewis came to our breeding program through Dayna Seely.  He is a nice lilac buck who has thrown some very nice babies.

Carrot's Trigger Warning

Trigger is a beautiful rich chocolate boy who came to us again from Aaron Stahowiak and Rachel Schwartz.  I am excited to see what qualities he will bring to us.  

 

Lorazark's Gotit

Gotit is out of one of my partner's first litters.  She is a beautiful chocolate doe, who did well at her first show.  We are VERY excited to have her as an up and coming part of our breeding herd.

 

Caskey's Mag

Mag was my first English Spot.  She is a nice dark chocolate color.  I am hoping to see some nice babies from her.  Mag came to me second hand from Caskey's Rabbitry.

This girl has yet to recieve a name.  She came to me from Lori Melton out of WA, but was originally bred by Tucker Creek Rabbitry.  She is a very pretty black girl who did quite well at her first show.

 

TCR's Casper

Casper came to me from Lori Melton out of WA.  He was originally bred by Tucker Creek Rabbitry.  He is a gorgeous black buck who did exceptionally well at his first show winning best of breed in all 4 shows.  I can't wait to see what his babies look like.

Jazkabor's Watchamacallit

Wat also came to us from Jazkabor's Farm out of Oregon.  She is a pretty Lilac color.  Can't wait to get my first litter from this girl.

 

Holly's White Rabbit

Holly is a lilac doe who has produced some very nice babies.  She came to me from Lori Melton.  SHe is registered and grand championed.  I am excited to see the babies that she produces for me.  

 

TCR's DODO

Dodo is a nice lilac boy.  I purchased him from Lori Melton, but again, he was originally bred by Tucker Creek Rabbitry our of Oregon.

Mr's Blueberry

Blueberry came to me from Marcus Raines out of Montana.  She is a very nice doe.  She is my only blue doe and i am looking forward to seeing what she produces for me.  

 

CR's 91

91 also has not been given a name just yet.  He came to me from Sweetclover Rabbits out of Alberta.  He is a nice blue boy.
